Are you ready to meet Jesus?  What is God's plan of salvation?

The answer to one simple but essential question could seal your fate.

It's not how many good deeds you've performed or if you've kept all the commandments and laws of God nor is it the condition of your virtual "church attendance record", but merely:

At the time of your death, do you know, without a doubt, that you will be welcomed into heaven?

If you answered YES, at one time you must have verbally acknowledged Jesus as the Son of God (Romans 10:8-13), been born of the Spirit (John 3:3-8), and received God's free gift of the Holy Spirit (John 14:15-21).

If you answered NO, take note of what Jesus said.  In order to be saved, You must be born again (John 3:3-8), that is - after your physical birth you reach the point in which you realize you are accountable for your actions, and must allow the Spirit to be born in you by recognizing that you are a sinner (Romans 3:22-24) in need of a savior and verbally acknowledging that you believe Jesus is the Son of God (Romans 10:8-13).  Then by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:4-7) you will be given eternal life (John 5:24, John 6:40), and the free gift of the Holy Spirit (John 14:15-21).

Help me pray to receive eternal life!

Remember:  God is patiently waiting so that everyone will have an opportunity (2 Peter 3:9) to have a personal relationship with Him through His Spirit (Romans 8:26-27, 1 John 3:24), and God loves you so much that He allowed His only Son to die for you (John 3:16-18) so that your sins could be forgiven (1 Peter 2:24-25) and your Spirit can live forever in communion with Him.  If you do not allow the Spirit to be born in you (Hebrews 2:2-4) before your physical death, the gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23) that has been reserved for you (2 Corinthians 5:14-15) will be voided and die (Revelation 2/20/21) with your physical body.

Help me pray to receive eternal life!

Romans 10:8-13

But what does it say?  "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:  That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.  As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

John 3:3-8

In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."  "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked.  "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!" Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.  Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.  You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'  The wind blows wherever it pleases.  You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going.  So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

John 14:15-21

"If you love me, you will obey what I command.  And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever--the Spirit of truth.  The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him.  But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.  I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.  Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me.  Because I live, you also will live.  On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.  Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me.  He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."

Romans 3:22-24

This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.  There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8-10

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Titus 3:4-7

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.  He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.  He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Romans 8:26-27

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.  We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.  And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

1 John 3:24

Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them.  And this is how we know that he lives in us:  We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

John 3:16-18

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

1 Peter 2:24-25

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.  For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Hebrews 2:2-4

For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment, how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation?  This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.  God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15

For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.  And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

Revelation 2:11

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.  He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death.

Revelation 20:6

Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection.  The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

Revelation 20:14-15

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.  The lake of fire is the second death.  If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:6-8

He said to me:  "It is done.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.  To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.  He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son.  But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.  This is the second death."

(Read aloud)

Lord God, I know I have sinned and want to turn from my sin and follow you.  I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins, and when He shed his blood for me and was buried, my sins were buried with Him.  As He arose 3 days later I rise with Him, a new creature in Christ Jesus.  I thank You for the forgiveness of my sins and by your mercy and grace, Lord, I receive the gift of salvation and everlasting life.  I ask now, In Jesus name, that the Spirit guide and prepare me for the days to come.  Amen.
